Truly a family affair in the tradition of old world Italian
eateries, Hilton Head Island residents Becky and Tony
Fazzini, along with family members Jill Boyd and Michael
Cirafesi, opened Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana in
January of 2002.
The family, originally from the Philadelphia area, longed for
the quaint authentic Italian eateries found in the Italian
neighborhoods around the Philadelphia area which were
modeled after the trattorias of the small towns of Italy. It was
a desire to offer this fine cuisine, paired with some of the
best wines in the world, in a more contemporary metropolitan
environment that launched what is now recognized as one of
the finest restaurants in the region.
